For this week’s Face Mask Friday post, I’m looking at these luxury under-eye masks from Institut Esthederm. They are designed to lift, firm, brighten and de-puff the under-eye area.
The Institut Esthederm Eye Contour Lift Patches (£47.50 from Beauty Bay) are amazing. We all know I’m obsessed with Murad’s Eye Lift Treatment, but these have a very similar effect (albeit at a higher price per application). With Institut Esthederm, one application i.e. one pair of patches works out at around £5, depending on where you buy them from. They might sound expensive, but you don’t have to use these regularly if you don’t want – you can save them for use before a special occasion, or to rescue your eyes after a major crying or insomnia session.
You get 10 sachets of 2 patches per box. Each sachet has 2 fibre, serum-soaked under-eye masks inside, that you apply to the area for only 5 minutes to instantly look more awake and refreshed. The serum contains Caffeine (to brighten and eradicate dark circles) and Escin (an antioxident that improves circulation), as well as Insitut Esthederm’s own repair and lift technologies to hydrate, plump and firm the skin. I like to keep my masks in the fridge for an extra cooling treat that really tackles puffiness. They tingle a little as you feel them work, and they are so refreshing to have on.
If you have fine lines and wrinkles around your eyes, dehydrated skin, dark circles or puffiness/eye bags from lack of sleep, these patches will really benefit you. Have you tried them before? If you have a favourite eye mask that you love, please share that with me too – I’d love to hear. I’m a mask addict and I love to try new ones!
