Last week I was introduced to what is now my most favourite thing – the new Jo Loves White Rose & Lemon Leaves Fragrance Paintbrush Gel. I can’t believe someone hasn’t thought of this idea already! You might not think that a perfume gel would smell as strong as a spray; but you’d be wrong!
Once you try Jo’s (THE Jo Malone’s) Fragrance Paintbrush, you’re going to find it really hard to go back to using anything else. The creator and genius behind the brand Jo Loves is Jo Malone – she sold the Jo Malone brand quite a few years ago now and is no longer connected to it. However, you can still experience the skills of her phenomenal nose via the fragrance products from her new brand Jo Loves. Her latest innovation, the Fragrance Paintbrush, is launching on 1st September in four scents – White Rose & Lemon Leaves, Pomelo, Green Orange & Coriander and Red Truffle 21.
I am obsessed with the White Rose & Lemon Leaves Fragrance Paintbrush Gel* (£40 from Jo Loves) as it smells amazing. Jo is a big fan of mixing citrus scents with florals, and I love fresh citrus scents and rose scents, so this one is the perfect perfume for me. There’s also a touch of warming cedarwood in there too.
Basically, the idea behind the paintbrush is that the fragrance is suspended in a light, clear gel and you use your body as a canvas and literally paint it wherever you want to. It’s so lovely to use and you only need a tiny bit as the fragrance is very potent. I hope that this is the future of perfume as I get so annoyed when people spray things on public transport and it invades your air space – this Fragrance Paintbrush is a much more socially-friendly way of putting on your perfume.
Are you excited to try these?
