Our obsession with beauty boxes isn’t going to slow down anytime soon. Now online beauty retail giant Feel Unique have jumped on the bandwagon with their own Powered by Feel Unique Best of Beauty Boxes, and carefully curated on-the-go mini beauty kits.
The Feel Unique Best of Beauty boxes are different from the likes of Look Fantastic and Glossybox. They are nearly 3 times the price, but contain more high-end brands from the Feel Unique roster. The contents are handpicked by their expert beauty team and are presented in a very chic black box with blush pink presentation card introducing the products. Their first box is themed around Universal Makeup (i.e. makeup to suit everyone) and is priced at £28.
For this price you are getting 6 (I got 7) products – a mixture of full-size and travel-size worth £80 – as well as a discount code to get 15% off of any of the brands included in the box on the Feel Unique site. The Universal Makeup box has a full-size Laura Geller Spackle Treatment Hydrating Makeup Primer, a full-size Nude by Nature Translucent Finishing Powder, a full-size PHB Ethical Beauty Eyeliner Pencil in Black, a full-size Bourjois Rouge Edition Souffle de Velvet Lipstick in Coquelic’oh!, a travel-size of The Pro Hygiene Collection Makeup Brush Cleaner, and a travel-size sample of the Caudalie Premier Cru Eye Cream (which isn’t on the card but was inside my box?) and a mini sample of the Elizabeth Arden Lasting Impression Mascara. It’s a good line-up of products and contains great cruelty-free and organic brands.
As well as their new beauty box – you can expect lots more interesting edits in coming months – they have also come out with two Powered by Feel Unique Beauty On-the-Go Kits. These are mini beauty kits containing Travel Essentials (£15) and Everyday Essentials (£15). They remind me a bit of the Sew Lomax kits, but these Feel Unique ones are much better quality. I have the Travel Essentials kit and I’m obsessed with the eye mask!
In this kit you get a blue zipped beauty pouch containing a ‘Jetsetter’ eye mask, a mini wooden hair brush, a Feel Unique branded handbag mirror and mini nail file, three fabulous blue Popbands, a deluxe travel-size First Aid Beauty Hydrating Mist, a mini sample tube of the cult Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream, and even some puzzle cards for the journey and a beauty checklist to help you pack. Love!
The other kit is Everyday Essentials (£15) and this is all pink. You get a pink version of the mirror, nail file and Popbands, as well as the same hairbrush; then tweezers, kirby grips, a Palmer’s Coconut Oil Lip Balm, and a deluxe travel-size Nuxe Hand Cream.
I’m excited to see where Feel Unique take their Best of Beauty Box next, and I think there’s scope to create more kits too. Do you like the look of these?
