It’s time for me to share my August beauty favourites with you, and this favourites post also has a little giveaway hidden within it, so make sure you enter. There are a lot of products to show you this time round, so get set for makeup, skincare, bath products and beauty gadgets.

    Vichy Dermablend

Vichy Dermablend foundation on 05 Porcelain swatch

Starting with makeup, I’ve been loving the Vichy Dermablend Foundation in 05 Porcelain (£20 from Look Fantastic). This is the lightest shade they do and it’s a little dark for my very pale skin, so I’ve been mixing a little bit in with all my other foundations to make them really full-coverage. You can hide a multitude of things with this stuff, and it stays put too. It isn’t drying and feels comfortable on the skin also.

    Lord & Berry Reglam Eyeshadow

I’ve also been loving the Lord & Berry #Reglam Cream Eyeshadow Crayons (£14 each from Look Fantastic). These are creamy, soft shadows that are very pigmented and just glide onto the lids and along the lower lash line. You can then just smudge them out with your finger or a brush. You get enough time to do this before they dry down and become very long-lasting. These are perfect for days when you just can’t be bothered doing much, but still want a really pretty eye look. The shades I’ve been wearing are Mad For It (a shimmery peachy pink), Backstage (a dark shimmery bronze) and Flashback (a pale shimmery champagne).

Paul & Joe Beaute Limited Edition Silky and Highlighting Pressed Face Powder

Paul & Joe Beaute Limited Edition Silky and Highlighting Pressed Face Powder in Natural Beige

The final makeup item that I want to share with you is the Paul & Joe Beaute Limited Edition Silky and Highlighting Pressed Face Powder in Natural Beige* (£28 from Asos). This looks a little too warm for me in the compact, but it’s actually fairly translucent, so it’s a good match for me. Not only does it banish oil and shine, whilst still keeping your skin’s natural glow; but it also nourishes and hydrates the skin – via its white lily extract, orange flower water and natural apricot ingredients. This limited edition cat print set is so pretty. The silk bag is beautiful and i’ve already re-purposed it.

Jo Malone English Oak and Redcurrant

You’ll know that I am super-fussy where fragrance is concerned – as 90% of perfumes will give me an instant migraine. I am getting better, however, at picking out and finding the few scents that work for me. One of these is a brand new fragrance from Jo Malone – English Oak & Redcurrant Cologne* (£44 from Jo Malone). This scent is gorgeous and is perfect for autumn. It has a fresh woody scent, combined with juicy redcurrant, fresh and calming rose and a hint of zesty green mandarin. I’m by no means a fragrance expert, so I can’t really describe this to you. I can say, however, that you need to get yourself to a Jo Malone counter pronto, to smell this. You’ll want to fill your life with it for the rest of the year. It’s cosy and comforting without being heady.

Clinique Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate

Clinique Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate

Onto skincare, I’ve been loving the new Clinique Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate* (£34 from Clinique). If your skin is dehydrated or just needs a boost of moisture sometimes, you need this. It’s so lovely to use – a lightweight, cooling gel that sinks into the skin immediately. It’s packed with hyaluronic acid and Clinique’s Lipid Sphere Technology to top up your skin’s moisture resevoir for a full 24 hours. It also contains antioxidants to help combat some of the environmental stresses that can cause skin moisture loss. This stuff keeps my skin plump and looking healthy. I pop it on under my serum after cleansing, as well as after any particularly drying skin treatments.

    Odylique Coconut Candy Scrub

    Odylique Coconut Candy Scrub

A body skincare product that I just can’t get enough of, is the award-winning Odylique Coconut Candy Scrub (£25 from Odylique). This natural and organic body scrub is amazing to use. It smells beautiful and tropical- exactly like its virgin coconut oil and cocoa bean butter ingredients. It’s a sugar and poppy seed-based scrub that exfoliates the skin, but also really moisturises, hydrates and nourishes it too. It transforms from a scrub into a rich creamy lather that feels so luxurious to use. My skin feels so soft and smooth after using this.

    iTreat Foot Exfoliating Socks

Another body skincare product that I’m obsessed with is the iTreat Foot Exfoliating Socks* (£9.99 from Amazon). You know what I’m like – no beauty trend or innovation can pass me by without me having a go. When I heard about people doing these Korean foot peels that make all the skin on your feet peel off, I had to try it too. These are socks that are filled with a chemically-exfoliating acid blend (you don’t feel it working at all). You wear them on your feet for an hour, then wash your feet in hot water. After around a week, you feet will start to peel – this is weirdly so much fun. It literally gets rid of ALL of your dry, hard skin to give you baby soft feet. Proper magic! I have a pack of two treatments to give away to one lucky winner. All you need to do is enter the Rafflecopter giveaway instructions at the end of this post. The giveaway will close at 11.59PM on Thursday 7th September 2017, and it’s open worldwide.

Paul Mitchell On The Horizon products

Onto hair care, I’ve been loving two products from the recent Paul Mitchell On The Horizon Collection. They are both brilliant at adding extra volume and lift to my fine and wispy hair. The Paul Mitchell Extra-Body Daily Boost* (£14.20 from Look Fantastic) is a root lifter spray that you spray into your towel-dried roots to give your hair some extra height, before styling as normal. This really does give your hair some body. The Paul Mitchell Extra-Body Thicken Up Styling Liquid* (£14.85) is also an amazing product. This thin lotion is for the lengths and ends of your towel-dried hair. It adds body, makes your hair look and feel thicker, adds shine and gives UV protection. Its lightweight and your hair still feels bouncy and clean after using it.

    pink squidger

    pink squidger

Finally, I don’t know what I ever did without this little gadget. Well, I do – I through out a lot of tubes with at least one application of product left in them. The Squidger* (£4.99 from Squidger) slots onto a tube and helps to push all the product up to the top. You slide it onto a nearly empty one and it will allow you to comfortably get the remaining cream, balm or gel out of the top. You might not think you need this, but you do, you really do.

Have you tried any of these products? Remember to enter the iTreat Foot Exfoliating Socks giveaway below!
