I’ve teamed up with TK Maxx to participate in, and share the news of Give up Clothes for Good, which takes place from 1st-30th September. The campaign is all about you donating unwanted, but quality, clothing to your local TK Maxx store to help raise money for the very worthy Cancer Research UK Kids & Teens.
If you don’t know what TK Maxx is, you have been seriously missing out. It’s one of my favourite places to hunt out a quality bargain. They stock a huge range of products – from fashion and beauty, to stationery and homeware. Lots of it is from big-name designer brands, but there are also some really unique finds from smaller labels, and things such as Korean beauty products – all at up to 60% off RRP.
Their Give Up Clothes for Good national fundraising campaign will run throughout September. If you want to help, have a look through your wardrobe to see what clothes (in good condition) you don’t want any more or that frankly don’t suit you! Taking these items to your local TK Maxx store will greatly support Cancer Research UK Kids & Teens, to help beat children’s cancers sooner.
My tops needed a good clearing out, so several of them are in my pile to donate. Nobody is getting their hands on my jeans though – not this year anyway! I know that I will accumulate a lot of summer-style tops before next summer, so I’ve cleared out the ones that I’m not that keen on, to make way for some sale shopping in the coming months.
I have picked out some items that I’ll be taking to my local TK Maxx store, but I’ve also nominated my Mum to do the same. Her wardrobe could do with a little improvement, so this campaign is a great way to nominate someone to take part, in a light-hearted way, who might need some fashion help.
It’s the start of a new season- come and join me in donating and nominating this month. It’s all for a great cause!
This is a sponsored post with TK Maxx, but all opinions are my own.
