It’s time for my yearly Christmas gift guides. The first in the series is stocking fillers, and it’s packed full of treats that your friends and family will love – from chocolates, to tree decorations and beauty items.
I always think that tree decorations are nice to include in stockings – picking a special one for someone each year will create memories for years to come. I prefer my tree to be covered with lots of different individual ornaments with meaning behind them. The first of these is from Dower and Hall (which have an amazing selection of silver ornaments this year) – Oswald McHoot The Owl* (£15 from Dower and Hall) is their official decoration for 2017. The next is a cute handmade star* (£7.50 by Donna Marie Jewellery on Etsy) and it reads ‘All I want for Christmas is prosecco’.
The next item is a beauty tree ornament, and when you open it up, you get a lovely miniature of ESPA’s Overnight Hydration Therapy – a super-hydrating overnight mask to leave skin replenished and soft. You’ll adore the Espa Tree of Wonder* (£12 from ESPA). You’ll also love the beauty Christmas cracker that i’ve chosen this year. It’s from Yardley and contains a travel size English Rose Hand Cream. This cracker* (£4 from Boots) is such a bargain and the cream smells so relaxing.
Onto edible treats, who could resist this epic box of Lindt’s classic milk chocolate Lindor chocolates?! The 600g Milk Lindt Lindor Sharing Pack (£12.99 from Tesco) will put a smile on anyone’s face. However, if you want to go a bit more artisan and original than Lindt, classic Yorkshire brand Bettys create the most beautiful and unique chocolates. The Bettys Christmas Chocolate Box* (£19.95 from Bettys) contains a delightfully festive array of truffles and pralines.
As I love travel and Kate Spade, I had to put in this stunning multi-coloured glitter luggage tag from the brand. The Kate Spade Multi-Colour ID Clip* (£17.60 from Amara) will brighten up any suitcase.
Now, you all know that I love beauty, so it was inevitable that there were going to be a lot of beauty gifts in all of my gift guides. For stocking fillers, I have some amazing items, that I would definitely be happy to find hanging at the end of my bed on Christmas morning. If you know someone that loves social media and lip balm, these Kaomojibalms* (£5 from Topshop) are ideal stocking fillers. The balm inside is really moisturising and the packaging is so fun.
Talking of lips; if you know a Too Faced fan, you are going to want to get them this incredibly cute limited edition Too Faced Melted Matte in Gingerbread Man* (£19 from Debenhams). This rusty orange-toned shade is bang on trend this season.
Another fabulous lip product is contained in the Sleek MakeUP Birthday Suit Pout and Polish gift set* (£8.50 from Boots). In this you are getting a nude Matte Me Lip Cream and a matching Matte Nail Polish in a beautiful pink-nude shade.
Soap & Glory also have a fabulously fun little lip set this holiday season. Their Pout-y Popper* (£6 from Boots) is a sparkle-filled party popper that also contains two mini limited edition Sexy Mother Pucker lip glosses in a nude shade and a gorgeous dark pink sparkle.
Another lip set that I adore (i’m actually obsessed) is from Mad Beauty’s Beauty and the Beast range of products. They do their Disney collaborations so well, and this lip balm duo of a Mrs Potts and a Chip* (£7 from Mad Beauty) is just insanely cute.
Another two items from this range would make great stocking fillers. The Mad Beauty Disney Beauty & The Beast Belle’s Enchanted Rose Bath Petals* (£4.99 from Mad Beauty) will give someone a beautifully scented bath that’s fit for a princess. Also, their Disney Belle’s Beauty Treats set* (£7.99 from Mad Beauty) contains a lovely rose-scented hand cream and lip balm with such a pretty Belle and Beast illustration on them.
Just before we finish with the Mad Beauty love (their site is amazing for quirky beauty and Disney addicts), they do a Minnie Mouse Face Mask* (£3.50 from Mad Beauty) that makes your face look like Minnie Mouse’s face (hours of fun!), and a matching headband* (£4.99 from Mad Beauty) with Minnie Mouse’s bow and ears. This delightful duo will bring any Disney fan joy.
If you are buying for someone that likes to really pamper themselves, they’ll love this cute silk eye mask from Bybi Beauty. This pastel pink mask* (£15 from CleanBeautyCo) is so pretty and comes in a little drawstring pouch to keep it clean. They’ll also love the luxury bath oil that is Olverum. All you need is one teaspoon of this calming aromatherapy oil in your bath, to create the most amazing bathing experience. The Olverum Travel Set* (£19 from Harvey Nichols) is enough for 9 baths and is perfect to travel with as it comes as three miniature bottles. You would literally be giving the gift of relaxation.
Makeup Revolution’s new MYSIGN ELEMENTS collection contains four eyeshadow palettes* (£6 each from Superdrug) relating to your earth sign (determined by your star sign). I am a Gemini, so I am Air. Gifting one of these will really add a personal touch to a stocking. It’s the first ever makeup range inspired by your zodiac sign. The shadows are a good quality and the colour range is supposed to be what suits you.
Finally, I want to share two hand products with you, that have the most delightful cosy winter scent. Wood of Windsor’s Blackberry & Thyme Exfoliating Hand Scrub* (£4.99 from Woods of Windsor) and Nourishing Hand Cream* (£5.99) are the perfect pair for a stocking, to keep hands soft and smelling amazing.
Will you be gifting any of these items?
