New foundations and concealers are some of my favourite products to test, as they can really make or break a makeup look, and they are the most important aspects of my makeup routine. I loved Urban Decay’s All Nighter foundation, so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on their new All Nighter Concealer?
Urban Decay’s All Nighter Concealer* (£ 20 from Urban Decay) is liquid and comes with a doe-foot applicator, and a little goes a long way. It’s ultra full-coverage, super-pigmented and even waterproof (and indeed sweat-proof) too. The formula actually absorbs oil, so it keeps you shine-free. If you haven’t guessed already, I LOVE this concealer. It comes very close to my favourite concealer – Sephora’s Bright Future Concealer. It has a matte finish and is great at covering dark circles, blemishes, pigmentation issues and even tattoos. If you are already a fan of Urban Decay’s Naked Concealer, you’ll be surprised to know that they’ve upped the pigment level in this one by 73%. It blends really nicely too, and really does stay in place all day or all night. It also contains a high-tech blend of polymers to stop it settling into fine lines and wrinkles.
I use the shade Fair Neutral, and this is light enough to still brighten my under-eye area. I also have the shade Fair Warm, but this is far too dark and orange in tone for my skin. There are 14 shades in total that really span the complexion shades from light to dark, so there’s bound to be one that suits you. Urban Decay recommend that if it’s a toss-up between two shades for you, that you opt for the lighter one.
This concealer, with Urban Decay’s All Nighter Foundation, really is a dream team that will keep you looking flawless through any special occassion or night out. This concealer is definitely a contender for best concealer ever. The only reason I think that you could dislike this product is if you have quite dry skin, as the formula could be too thick and drying for you. Otherwise, I really recommend that you give it a try!
