It’s that time of the month again, where I share my beauty favourites – products I haven’t shown you yet, that I’ve loved the most throughout January 2018. I have six lovely makeup, skincare and haircare products to introduce you to.
ESPA Fitness Shower Oil*- £32, John Lewis
This new product contains a fitness-inspired blend of essential oils to revive the body and awaken the mind. This is such a luxurious-feeling product to use at the gym after a workout, to give you further energy and clarity for the day ahead. It contains Coconut Oil and Olive Oil (to cleanse and condition the skin), Peppermint Oil (to stimulate body and mind), Eucalyptus (to clear the mind), Clove Bud Oil (to warm and soothe muscles) and West Indian Bay (to revive body and mind). I love this scent as it’s so refreshing. I’m not usually a fan of the smell of cloves, but I can’t pick the scent up in this. It leaves you feeling so clean and ready to get on with the day.Manuka Doctor Micellar Cleansing Pads* – £12.99, Manuka Doctor
These are such a hydrating and easy way to remove stubborn makeup before you properly cleanse. They breakdown and remove makeup well; leaving your skin feeling lovely and soft. They also contain a host of skin beneficial ingredients. There’s Vitamin C (to fight free radicals and promote collagen synthesis), New Zealand Manuka Honey (to moisturise, soothe and boost hydration levels and elastin), natural fruit acids (to exfoliate dead skin cells and boost radiance), skin-softening Floral Nectar, and natural amino acids (to brighten the skin, even skin tone and regulate skin pH levels). You get 60 pads in a pot and they are very handy to have around.Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Liquid LipColor in Orchid Flare* – £25 from Estee Lauder
These new matte lipsticks have such an incredible formula, and this pink-purple shade is just beautiful. This lipstick feels so light on the lips, like you are wearing nothing at all. It dries to being almost completely transfer proof, and it’s incredibly pigmented with just one swipe. You get great wear time out of these lipsticks, and this colour will see you turning heads this spring. I need to get myself some more shades!Charlotte Tilbury Brightening Youth Glow* – £38.50, Charlotte Tilbury
This new product from Charlotte Tilbury is designed to be used as a primer – one that has anti-ageing benefits, is colour-correcting and boosts skin radiance. It’s a lightweight pearlescent liquid product that you apply to your skin as a base for makeup. It moisturises the skin, blurs blemishes, adds glow via it’s pearlescent particles, tackles redness and other skin discolourations, and helps reduce wrinkles and fine lines via its Vitamin B3/Niacinamide ingredient. This is just a really nice product to use – it makes my skin feel soft and hydrated before I apply my makeup, and I love the glow boost that you get with this.Wet Brush Pop Fold – £14.99, Cult Beauty
I’ve been using a regular wet brush for years, but I’ve just discovered this handy foldable version for my handbag and travelling. This brush is a god-send in tackling tangles as it just glides through them, and this portable version makes keeping your hair knot-free on the go, easy. If you haven’t tried a wet brush before, and find combing through your hair, wet or dry, a nightmare, you need to get yourselves a Wet Brush.RosehipPLUS Rosehip Oil Skin Boost Roll-On – £13.99, Stress No More
Sometimes my skin just doesn’t get on well with oils at all, but at the moment, it’s really liking Rosehip Oil. I find the usual method of application (dropping a few drops onto your fingers then pressing onto your skin) quite messy and annoying, so I was delighted to come across this little roll-on. I can just apply it onto the areas of my face that need that extra moisturisation and conditioning, then press it into my skin. Rosehip Oil has so many skin benefits and is rich in so many vitamins (A, C, E and Omega 3, 6, 9). It hydrates, softens, soothes damaged skin, minimises the appearance of lines and wrinkles, promotes skin elasticity, helps to repair skin cell damage, contains antioxidents to protect againt environmental aggressors, and adds glow to the skin. This is a great treat for my skin at night.
