I hadn’t heard of Seoulista Beauty before, until these sheet masks landed on my doorstep. They are a UK brand that are quite new; stocked online at Look Fantastic, and in-store at M&S beauty halls. They are inspired by the highly innovative Korean beauty world, and they source ingredients and technologies from the country, to bring back to London. I’ve been testing out their four varieties of sheet masks.
Seoulista Beauty’s four sheet masks are bio-cellulose, so they are a very thin, delicate gel that moulds closely to the contours of your face. Bio-cellulose is one of the most effective formats for sheet masks, as they don’t dry out as quickly as fibre masks, and the format allows the serum to penetrate the skin better and more quickly. These masks are made from coconuts and bamboo. All their masks are free from parabens, sulphates, mineral oil and artifical colour, and are packed full of skin-nourishing botanicals. The brand pride’s themselves on being ethical and animal-friendly.
These masks are such a great way to give your skin a quick boost, and greatly improve the look and feel of it. You wear these masks for just 20 minutes, and they are very light and comfortable to wear. They really stay put on the skin too, so you can move about if you need to. I’d just be very careful when removing the backings from the mask, as the mask itself is very thin and very delicate, and you don’t want it to tear or fold over.
Let’s take a look at the four varieties! The orange mask is the Seoulista Beauty Brightening Instant Facial* (£7.99 from Look Fantastic). It’s infused with Vitamin C and AHAs (alpha-hydroxy acids) to brighten and chemically exfoliate the skin. This mask improves the texture of your skin, and also helps fade dark spots and pigmentation. It also has a dose of antioxidents to protect your skin from environmental damage. This is a great, speedy way to more radiant skin.
The blue mask is the Super Hydration Instant Facial* (£7.99 from Look Fantastic) and is packed full of hydrating Hyaluronic Acid. It’s a coconut-based mask that’s designed to deeply hydrate and plump the skin. It also contains a range of antioxidents to protect the skin from ageing environmental stresses.
The green mask is the Correct & Calm Instant Facial* ( £7.99 from Look Fantastic) and it’s also made from coconuts. It’s aimed at people with red or irritated skin, or those with blemises and large pores. It contains a blend of eucalyptus and witch hazel to treat and soothe problematic skin. This would also be a great mask for after a day in the sun.
The purple mask is the Charcoal Detox Instant Facial* (£7.99 from Look Fantastic). It’s a black mask, whereas the other masks are a fairly opaque white. It’s made from bamboo, and is designed to deeply cleanse and purify the skin via charcoal and volcanic ash ingredients.
I love all of these masks, and they are definitely ones that I would buy again. I really recommend that you try these out!
