As you can expect from October, this month’s Glossybox UK beauty box is Halloween-themed. There are two versions available – Treat or Trick, and each box contains different shades. You are randomly assigned a box, and I received the Treat box, which I think is the nicest. The colours inside are more wearable than the Trick box. You can subscribe to Glossybox UK from just £10 plus p&p.The star product in the box is a full-size Illamasqua Antimatter Lipstick in Nebula (worth £20). Nebula is a really bright fuchsia pink, and is a pretty statement lipstick. It’s a semi-matte, very pigmented and very comfortable to wear.Also in the box is a full-size Sleek MakeUP Eyeshadow Palette in Oh So Pretty (worth £8.99). This has 12 quite autumnal shade, making it ideal to put to use right away. There are both matte and pearlescent shade, and it has a great range of shades for creating a warmer smoky eye look, or a subtle pastel day look.Another makeup item in the box is a full-size MUA Luxe Strobe & Glow Highlight Kit in Pink Luster (worth £5). This shiny compact features pale pink powder and champagne cream highlighters so that you can get your glow on. It’s a really good highlighter for the bargain price, and you can use the powder for real strobing, and the cream to add some dewiness to the skin.I like it when you discover new brands via Glossybox. This is the first time I have come across Luna by Luna Cosmetics. In this month’s Treat box there is also a full-size Luna by Luna Cosmetics Loose Translucent Powder (worth £17). It’s a very finely-milled invisible powder that you can use to set makeup and remove shine from you face.Finally, there a deluxe travel-size sample of the famous This Works In-Transit Camera Close-up (full size worth £35). This versatile cream is light in texture and absorbs well into the skin. It’s designed to be a mask, moisturiser and primer in one. It contains Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate the skin, caffeine to refresh the skin, and Argan & Starflower Oils to moisturise. It’s a cream that helps with signs of fatigue, boost hydration and prep skin for makeup.
