I go on holiday on Wednesday and then the day after I come back, I’m moving into the new flat. Saying that I am busy at the moment is an understatement. The flat is furnished and it’s stunning, but there are some pieces that i’d like to add to it, and just some pieces that I wish I could add if I had more space. I’m endlessly browsing interiors online, so I thought I would show you some of my favourite finds, in case you are looking for any inspiration too. I’ll give you a flat tour once everything is in and tidy!
I have so many knick-knacks, candles, ornaments and small homeware items to decorate the flat with already, but there are a few larger furniture items that i’d like to buy and add to some of the rooms. Especially the spare bedroom to make it homely for guests. Not all of these will make it obviously, but if I had endless space, I’d have all of these in my shopping basket.

I NEED a bar cart in my living room. I’ve even been buying lots of fancy drinks and cocktail ingredients to put on it. I’d love to come home after a long day at work, and sit infront of the fire with a good gin, or a nice cocktail to unwind. I love the antique style of this drinks trolley, and it would be so good for entertaining too.
I’d love an ottoman/blanket box for the end of the bed in the main bedroom, to store additional quilt covers, pillow cases and sheets. This one looks very stylish and it works perfectly as a seat too. I like the neutral grey colour of this, as it would fit well with the guest bedroom too.
I love a big bed as you have so much more room and you can cocoon yourself with pillows and the duvet. My friends have this bed with the Myers Extra Memory Comfort mattress and it’s so comfortable and they are endlessly recommending it to me. I would love to have this in the main bedroom, as sleep is one of my most favourite things in life, and I think i’d get a great sleep in this huge 6ft bed.
There is actually already a kitchen table and area, but it would be great to have a really solid wooden one that you can style up in lots of different ways, for everything from casual dinners to fancy formal ones. I love to have a lot of wooden items as they look so homely. I’ve gone for a wooden item again for the TV unit, as it just looks so classic and perfect for any season of the year. There’s also lots of spaces for ornaments and plants too.
Everyone needs a coloured chair to add a pop of colour to their bedroom. Yes, it will rarely get sat on and will end up inevitably covered in clothes, it’s still a necessity for me. This one from made.com is in the perfect shade of pink. I adore it. The legs on this chair are so unique and eye-catching too.
I think a coat stand looks so homely too. I love this white wooden one from Wayfair as it looks great quality, but is very affordable. I’d like guests to be able to hang up their coats and scarves when they come in too.
Look out for the new flat tour post, which will be up in the next month. I’m so excited!
