I’m moving into a new flat in two weeks, and it marks an exciting new chapter in my life. The thing I am most excited about is that there’s a bath in the bathroom. I used to have almost nightly baths with a Lush bath bomb, and then I broke my knee and couldn’t have a bath, and then there was no bath. Now I have that glorious tub, I’ll be splashing about in the bubbles all the time.
I like my bathroom to be a very peaceful space that has all of my beauty products laid out and accessible. I like to have lots of luxurious scented candles in there too. A bathroom should be somewhere you love to go to pamper yourself, and once I’ve arranged my new bathroom the way I like it, I’ll share in a blog post some photos of it and details of the products that are taking pride of place.
I thought I’d share with you the sort of vibe that I am after. Once I see exactly how much space I have, I’ll be buying lots of little accessories to style it. This is the look that I am after, and these are the things online that are catching my eye. Just in case you need some inspiration too.

I like a really clean, fresh look, which luckily I have, so that I can let all the accessories do the talking. Everything from toothbrush holders to mirrors and storage baskets can make a real difference to a room and really let you express your own personality and style. I know it’s a bit of a blogger cliché, but I do love the marble and gold/copper look. Who doesn’t?! I also think that it goes really well with rustic rope, dark woods and chic animal print. I’m mixing a whole lot of styles, but I love the way it looks.
A tray over the bath is also an essential for me as I’ve never had this before. It’s the perfect place for a lit candle, a good book and a glass of wine. A must-have for after a long day at work. Relaxing baths used to really help my anxiety, so I’m glad that, in two weeks, I’m going to have one again. Bliss!
I can’t wait to style my new bathroom and share the images with you. It will be a place of pure beauty, luxury and tranquillity. If you want to see some examples of my style inspiration, check out here and here.
