My favourite kind of clothes are casual clothes. I love them much more than getting dressed up, as I think you can really express your style a lot more with everyday clothes. I love putting together interesting casual outfits, like styling sweatshirts with maxi skirts, and wearing trainers or Converse to dress overwise fancy pieces of clothing down. I’ve picked out some of my favourite casual fashion and jewellery pieces available online, in case you are in need of some inspiration.
Tory Burch Stripped Metallic-Weave Jumper – £275 | Christian Dior J’ADIOR bracelets – £270 | Tateossian leather and classic bracelets – £195 | £275 | Orwell + Austin Love T-Shirt – £40 | Gucci Ace Logo-Print Trainers – £630 | Simply Be Friday Slogan Jumper – £20 | Curvissa casual girlfriend jeans – £34.99
I love colourful striped jumpers, and i’ve worn the one that I got from Simply Be to death! This Tory Burch one has much more muted, warmer colours that the jumper I have, which makes it perfect for autumn and winter. It’s a real statement piece that I would team with a maxi skirt or a pair of jeans.
I’ve been obssessed with these Christian Dior woven bracelets ever since I saw In The Frow with them. They are casual, but still very chic and classy. They would look great with a denim shirt or a plain white t-shirt. I also love this black leather bracelet with rose gold hardware that I discovered from Tateossian – it’s one of those bracelets that you can put on and just wear 24 hours a day, as it goes with everything.
As you know, I do love a good slogan t-shirt and sweatshirt. I love the colourful striped lettering on both this Orwell + Austin tee and the Simply Be ‘Friday’ sweatshirt. Both are in a classic grey and would become weekend wardrobe staples. You could tuck the t-shirt into a maxi skirt, or wear the sweatshirt with a pair of black leggings.
I love Gucci at the moment, and although these trainers are white and would get quite messy, I still need them in my life. I love the prominent red Gucci logos and their contrast to the green heel panel. You could wear these with tuille skirts to dress them down, or pair them with jeans and a chic wool jumper.
Just as I like a slogan top, I love a good slogan, embroidered or patch pair of jeans too. These ones from Curvissa have embroidered white lettering that says things like ‘100% Awesome’ and ‘Be Happy’. How cute are they?! The slogan detailing is small, so you could wear these with anything as they don’t make too much of a statement.
I hope you’ve discovered a new item for your wishlist, for rainy Saturdays or brunching Sundays. I’m off to get the Simply Be sweatshirt now – what a bargain!
