As women, men can be notoriously hard to buy for at Christmas. My mega Christmas gift guides for women are coming out next week, but I thought i’d throw in a little edit of gifts for men, in case you are struggling for ideas. From fashion and sports, to gadgets and edible treats, there’s something for everyone here.
If you are looking for a really special gift, the luxury gifts from Mr Porter would be a real treat. This leather backpack from Tom Ford (£1750) is a gift that is stylish, practical and will last a lifetime. The more it ages, the better it will look.
If the men in your life love golf, but you don’t know one club from another, golf clothing is an easy and affordable gift that they would really appreciate. I love the range of golf trousers from Function 18 as they have all the top brands and a huge range of colours and patterns. This pair are the Hugo Boss Rogan 3-1 Chino in Grey (£119).
I introduced David to men’s skincare brand Lab Series, and he really enjoys using their facial SPF and thinks it smells amazing. They have a gift set that contains all the grooming and skincare products that a man could need – a great way to get an introduction to this top brand. The Grooming Constellation Set (£39) will make a thoughtful gift.
IWOOT is always a great site for gimicky and silly men’s gifts. I love this scratch-off movie poster (£9.99) – it would make a great gift for any film buff. As they watch each classic movie, they scratch off that square – something to entertain them all year round. For more gadget and fun gift ideas, check out this article from askmen.
If gaming is their bag, get them the Nintendo Switch gaming console (£279) – a machine that you can play both at home and on the go. Throw in some classic games like Super Mario or Donkey Kong, and you’ll have one happy guy.
For those men constantly on their phones, a smart watch would make a great gift. The smart watches from Skagen (£225) are simple and understated. You get 24 hours of use on a single charge and you can link up lots of 3rd party apps from the App Store or Google Play. They’ll never have to check their phone for messages again!
