I love costume jewellery, but I do get very tired of having to take off rings every time I wash my hands, or take earrings out every time I have a shower, because they aren’t real gold or silver. I needed to invest in a few gold and silver stacking rings that I could wear all the time, with every outfit; so I was really pleased when I discovered these pieces from London store The Pommier.I couldn’t believe how tiny and delicate these rings are, and I love that I chose rings with three different textures – one’s diamond cut, one’s smooth and one is a ball ring. It makes layering them look a lot more interesting. The Arc Ring in Gold (£40 from The Pommier), the Ultra Skinny Diamond Stacking Ring in Silver (£15 from The Pommier) and the Skinny Ball Stacking Ring in Gold (£20 from The Pommier) are such great quality and I know they will last me a long time.
I also picked up a pair of earrings as they were a fantastic bargain in the sale – the Sterling Silver Tiny Hoop Earrings (Was £49, now £20 from The Pommier) have a celestial theme and are mis-matched. One is a star and one is a full moon. I love celestial jewellery so these will fit so well into my collection. I also liked them as they are a bit different to your standard stud earring as they are more like a cuff. I love how these look on, although they are so hard to get a good photo of because they are so tiny!
The Pommier is a jewellery store in Covent Garden, and they also have an online shop. They sell so many lovely pieces from lots of independent creative talent. It’s a great place to discover emerging designers from over 50 different countries, and find some really unique items of jewellery. You can also purchase gift cards too – these are great for Christmas presents, as your loved ones can choose their own items that suit their style and needs best.
The rest of my blog posts this week will be Christmas gift guides, to give you lots more ideas of what you can get your friends and family for Christmas – from more jewellery and other fashion accessories, to beauty products, subscription boxes and homeware. Let the festive fun begin!
