It’s a bit of a cliche that we make a New Year’s resolution to go to the gym and get fit, but it’s true that this time of year sparks our interest in getting healthier and working out. If you are plus-size, it can be difficult to find gym wear that’s as good quality and stylish as the brands that cater purely for smaller sizes. So, i’ve put together an edit of my favourite plus-size leggings and gym wear available online.

Khloe Kardashian’s brand Good American caters so well for plus-sizes, and you can even view their pieces on different sized models on their website, so you can see how they might look on you. I love their mesh-panelled high-waisted leggings, as they look really cool and unique, and aren’t just your standard plain black leggings.

Fabletics also have a plus-size range that caters up to size 30, which is great and inclusive. Their models are also plus-size, showing you how the pieces might look on you. Their High-waisted Printed Powerfold leggings have a leg-flattering dark print, that’s eye-catching and stylish in all seasons. They are £52, but you can get 2 for £24 if you become a VIP member.

You know already that I love Simply Be – they make superb quality, on-trend, stylish clothing for curvier figures. Their GRL POWER Slogan Leisure Tee is perfect for everything from Yoga to Spin. You can wear it over a more fitted cropped sports top too, if you want that versatility.

Another plus-size online ‘catalogue’ brand Curvissa, also offer some great gym wear options that go up to a size 34. Stylish sportswear that’s also helping a good cause!

I only know that Nike cater for plus-sizes because i’ve seen some of Callie Thorpe’s stunning imagery for them. I love their Nike Pro HyperWarm Women’s Tights are basically leggings, but they are thermal and will keep you warm if you enjoy running outside. I really like the monochrome digital print on them. You can get these up to a size 30-32.

We all love a bit of marble, and I love these marble-print stripe leggings from Yours Clothing. I love the flash of coral that they have too, and they are in the sale at the moment, so get some quick if you love them. The vertical stripe is very flattering on your legs and will make them look longer.
