This post is about a week later than I wanted it to be, but better late than never. I wanted to share with you some of the gifts that I got for Christmas from family and friends, as I love reading these blog posts myself. I was, again, very lucky and got so many beautiful things.Let’s start with David. He got me such thoughtful presents and I love and appreciate them so much. My main present was a very generous voucher to PURE Spa, so that I could pamper myself. I’ve got a couple of clinical skin treatments to get over the next couple of weeks, then i’ll be heading here for all of the relaxing stuff! He also got me a little soulmate card for my purse, which is so sweet.
He knows i’m a massive gin fan, so he got me the Limited Edition Candy Cane Gin from Eden Mill. The taste of this is exquisite – gentle berries with a light mint. I’d recommend it with lemonade for a delicate, refreshing drink.
David and I also love micro piggies, so he got me a calendar since he can’t get me a real pig. I shall look forward to having these little cuties on our wall for the next year.
He also knows how much I love my diaries and journals, so he got me this beautiful planner. I’m so pleased that it has a meal planner in it, as we are on a serious health kick.
Lastly, he got me a nose warmer (yes, these seriously do exist) because the tip of my nose is always freezing cold. He doesn’t believe that i’ll actually put it here on my blog, so just for him, here it is. Looking hot!
From my Mum, we got our bar cart (which we got a month early so we could enjoy it over the festive period), then she got us our own presents too.
She got me a lot of jewellery, including this chic cross-hatch bracelet from Oliver Bonas, these heart drop earrings from Folli Follie, and this triangle necklace from Fossil.
She also got me a stunning leather ‘LPS’ monogrammed leopard-print coin purse, and these ‘L’ initial socks. I desperately needed a new coin purse and this one is perfect. She also got me a lot of pampering treats, books and edible goodies.
My best friend Julie got me a Kate Spade trinket box and Kate Spade earrings, as she knows how much I’m a fan of the brand.
I also did a couple of Secret Santas again this year. My first was with the #CraftBlogClub and I received my gift from Kay, the founder of the group. She made me a couple of handmade felt Christmas ornaments that will be going on my tree next year, and also included some tasty chocolate.
I also did a cruelty-free and Vegan beauty Secret Santa, and I received lots of face masks, Superdrug beauty treats and Vegan chocolates.
I hope you had a great Christmas surrounded by family and friends. I’m already thinking about Christmas this year now!
