It’s time for Face Mask Friday again! This week i’m reviewing the Oh K! Cherry Lip Mask, just in time for Valentine’s Day and all those kisses!
The Oh K! Cherry Lip Masks (£4.50 from Oh K!) are very much like 99% of other lip masks on the market – slippery Hydrogel, hard to keep on your lips, and yielding only very temporary results. The only lip masks that I can really rate are the Sephora lip masks.
This Oh K! lip masks are infused with a serum containing Wild Cherry (hydrating and antioxidant protection) and Violet extract (contains Salicylic Acid to exfoliate the skin), as well as hydrating Hyaluronic Acid. Yes, they do temporarily hydrate, plump and soften your lips (if you can get the mask to stay put), but it’s an effect that only last for a few hours. Perfect for a night out, but has no real skin benefits as you don’t wear the lip mask for long enough or often enough – especially at £4.50 per go.
These masks are great for a pamper night or sleepover, but for regular use, you’d be much better investing in a good lip balm.
What plans do you have for Valentine’s Day? I had the day off to spend with David, but now I’ve got to work on a feature film, so we’ll just be having a nice dinner at home at night.
