I’ve been loving Zoeva’s 2018 Christmas collection so much recently, so when I noticed that it was still available to purchase, I just had to share it with you so that you can snap it up before it disappears!
These four products do come as a kit for £38.50*, and the only stockist that still has this is the Zoeva site for £38.50. You can also purchase the eyeshadow palette (£18) and the highlighter palette (£11.50) individually. The collection was inspired by Zoe Boikou’s foreign travel and wanderings, so it’s supposed to encourage people to discover and go down new paths to find happiness. Exploration in life and in makeup.
This collection does remind me a lot of Fenty Beauty’s Moroccan Spice Collection, so if you invested in that, I don’t think you need this. Otherwise, these are great products to get your hands on if you love a warm-toned makeup look, as you can create an array of both bold and neutral looks. The Zoeva Spice of Life Eyeshadow Palette is a palette with ten rich shades, which are all very pigmented and blend beautifully. There is some fallout from these shadows, so I’d recommend you do your eye makeup before your foundation and base. There are three shimmer shades, four mattes, one duo-chrome, one glitter and one metallic – A Nuance (a matte vanilla nude), Unlike any Other (a shimmery pink rock salt), Fortuitous Moments (a shimmery rose tea copper), Balance the Contrast (a shimmering red orange saffron), The Flavour (a shimmery golden cumin brown), Of the Favor (a matte cinnamon brown), Surprises of Life (a matte reddish-brown clove), Favourite Discovery (a metallic pink peppercorn), Variety Is Key (Shimmering Lavender), and Shared Joy (a matte gingerbread brown).
The highlighter palette contains a pink-coral shimmering blush, and a champagne gold highlighter for the high points of your face. These are both really pretty and the my really pop. Perfect for spring and summer coming up, but it’s definitely one for pale skin tones.
The lip colours are dark, deep, very autumnal or winter shades. You get a Zoeva Graphic Lips Lip Liner in Deep Thoughts (a midnight violet black), and a Zoeva Pure Velour Lips in The Outsider (deep violet). They product glide onto the lips, and super-pigmented and apply evenly.
Stay tuned to my Instagram over the weekend and next week for some makeup looks using these products!
