The summer months might be over and the season of tights and boots upon us, but that doesn’t mean that we should stop looking after our feet. I wanted to share with you three brands with great foot care offerings. I’ve been really enjoying using them this year and have experienced great results.Bare Feet by Margaret Dabbs*
Margaret Dabbs is a well-respected podiatrist, with 12 clinics worldwide. Margaret Dabbs London is her luxury main line of pedicure products, but recently she has added a more affordable, but not any less hard-working, collection Bare Feet by Margaret Dabbs. You can purchase online from the brand’s site, or also from Marks & Spencer. Everything is priced around the £8/£9 mark and you are getting superb value. My favourites include the Cooling Foot Spray that has refreshing green tea and zesty lime; the Exfoliating Foot Scrub that uses coconut shell and apricot stone; and the Soothing Foot Soak, again with that zesty lime and refreshing green tea. The main ingredients in all products in the range is energising ginger and healing manuka honey, to leave your feet soft, soothed and awakened.Seoulista Beauty*
You will all know by now that I am a great fan of Seoulista Beauty‘s facial sheet masks and hand mask; but I also love their Rosy Toes Instant Pedicure Foot Mask. It’s very affordable at just £7.99 per mask as it really does give your skin an intensive moisturising and softening treatment. It comes as a pair of plastic booties that have a double layer of fibre inside that’s soaked with a generous dose of serum. The idea is that you wear these masks for half and hour to one hour in order to let that serum penetrate your skin. The serum contains Bulgarian rose oil (hydrating and provider of ‘anti-ageing’ Vitamins C & A), soothing and calming aloe vera, and also beeswax (to provide protective barrier support and anti-inflammatory assistance) to give you enviably soft feet. It evens smells calming too with its rose scent.Ameliorate*
Ameliorate is a moisturising skincare, body care and scalp care brand that uses AHAs in its formula to also exfoliate dead skin cells. You can purchase online from the brand’s website and also from Space NK. It’s designed for people with bumps and texture issues, as well as those with dry, rough skin. Their products have their own unique hydration complex and also have that exfoliating Lactic Acid. They have a great Softening Bath Milk Oil (£19) that works wonders as prep for your foot care routine. They also have their Intensive Foot Therapy (£15) – a thick cream moisturiser for feet that’s designed for very rough, dry and cracked feet. In independent tests 94% agreed that the product improved the texture of their feet and 100% agreed that their feet felt more moisturised! It contains softening and moisturising Shea Butter, Glycerine and Jojoba Oil, as well as deodorising Farnesol.
