Happy Face Mask Friday! This week i’m reviewing the NEW mask from sensitive skin brand Pai Skincare – their Resurrection Girl Hydrating Mask. It looks aesthetically pleasing with its beautiful blue colour, but is it actually any good? Is this the dream hydrating mask?

Use my code LFTFLPEARSON for 20% off this mask at Look Fantastic. Making it just £34.76. Designed for sensitive skin, but more than suitable for all skin types, this silky gel mask has been created to deeply hydrate as well as calm and protect the skin. It feels beautiful and cooling to apply, and it’s fun with its pastel blue tones. The colour definitely adds to the experience, but relates to one of its most important ingredients. A favourite of mine infact!
This organic mask’s headliner ingredient is the Resurrection Plant – a desert plant that can bring itself back to life after extreme dehydration. In skincare, it transforms extremely dry skin to deeply moisture and plump the skin for a youthful appearance. It’s also an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Similarly, this mask gets its blue colour from superstar ingredient Blue Tansy – it’s part of the chamomile family and is exceptionally calming and soothing, especially for those with skin conditions like excema or psoriasis. It’s an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant also, and it’s able to clear pores and reduce acne-causing bacteria too. Hyaluronic Acid is, of course, in here to hydrate the skin and lock in that moisture, and there’s a few prebiotics in this mask too – something that’s amazing for those with a compromised skin barrier as they keep the surface of the skin balanced healthy.
The texture is dreamy to apply – a silky smooth and cooling gel that you apply a generous layer over your whole face and massage in. You then leave for at least ten minutes before emulsifying into.a milk with wet fingertips. It’s a real spa-like experience using this mask and it delivers fantastic results – deeply hydrating the skin and leaving it comfortable and supple. I think this is a mask that everyone needs in their stash.
All Pai Skincare packaging can be recycled. Most of it can be recycled at home, but some elements of product packaging require specialist recycling. Pai have teamed up a specialist recycling programme to make it easy for you to recycle these elements too. Basically, you keep the box your products were delivered to you in, then when you’ve finished a product you pack the elements that can’t be home-recycled into the box, attach the provided pre-paid postage label and drop off at a post office. Easy!
