This leave-conditioner smells just like the famous Bum Bum Cream – the brand’s Brazilian Crush fragrance. It is cruelty-free and Vegan too.

What does the Sol de Janeiro Milky Leave-In Conditioner do?

It is designed to weightlessly hydrate your hair, smooth it, de-tangle it and nourish your hair. Expect seriously soft and sleek locks! A blend of oils and butters conditions the hair, reduces flyaways and adds shine. Babaçu and Brazil nut oils seal cuticles with hydration, and cupuaçu butter infuses hair with moisture to leave it feeling like silk.Does it work? Yes, because it leaves my hair the softest that it has felt in a long time. Softer in-fact that my beloved L’Oreal 8-Second Wonder Water leaves it. You apply the leave-in conditioner to damp hair before heat styling. I have mid-length hair so I use about 5 sprays of this beauty from Sol de Janeiro.

I then tousle my hair to pull it down the lengths and spread it about. It smells absolutely amazing when you spray it and dry it, but the scent doesn’t stay in your hair after it is dry. I wish it did Sol de Janeiro because it’s dreamy! Above all, it’s such a lovely experience to smell it when it’s damp, so I don’t mind too much about this.

What does the scent smell like?

The scent is the brand’s most famous. Top notes of Pistachio & Almond mix with heart notes of Heliotrope & Jasmine Petals. Finally, base notes of Vanilla, Salted Caramel and Sandalwood finish off this beautiful combination. It’s the scent of summer basically and it’s also an almost identical scent to Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille, if you want to know what it smells like!
