GETTING A BRAIDED HAIRSTYLE PART TWO

May 27, 2015 in BEAUTY, Uncategorized

    Braided Hairstyle

A few months ago, I posted about my trip to a Rainbow Room International salon to get my hair braided (you can read it here). Last week, I went to the #BLOW salon in Glasgow for a different braided look, so I wanted to share it with you.

I’ve been practicing braiding my own hair a lot and I am getting better; but it will still mainly be salons for me at the moment, until I master the very tricky art.

    BLOW Finnieston

#BLOW style and colour bar, have just launched a braid bar menu, where they offer a selection of different plaited looks. On the night I went, it was for an event promoting this and their Topshop pop-up weekend. Topshop had dressed their windows, and the Topshop personal stylist Alice McColm was there talking through festival clothes and accessories.

Like my last salon trip to get braided, I let the hair stylist at #BLOW do whatever look she wanted. I really like what she came up with, as it means I can still wear my hair down, but it’s neat and out of the way too.

I can’t wait to make another salon trip to get my hair braided again, and was thinking of these styles from Pinterest…
