FLAMINGO CANDLES SPRING 2015 COLLECTION REVIEW

March 4, 2015 in BEAUTY, Uncategorized

Flamingo Candles Spring 2015 Collection Candles

The new candles from Flamingo Candles have some amazing scent combinations- Rose & Marshmallow, Raspberry & Salted Caramel, Mango & Dragonfruit, Green Apples and Daisy. All perfect for Spring and Summer. I have two of the scents- Rose & Marshmallow and Raspberry & Salted Caramel- and I’ve been loving burning them both.

    Flamingo Candles Classic Jar Candle

All Flamingo Candles are hand-poured and made from organic soy wax. They come in cute jars with an acyllic lasered flamingos stuck on them- perfect for storing makeup brushes in after you’ve used them.

Both Rose & Marshmallow and Raspberry & Salted Caramel smell very realistic- none of the sickly manufactured scents you sometimes get from the likes of Yankee Candles. Rose & Marshmallow is my favourite of the two- it is a sweet relaxing rose scent that gently fills a room. It has base notes of sandalwood, rose, musk and orchid with mandarin, cherry, raspberry, vanilla, coconut and marshmallow. I’m not usually one for floral scents; but this one isn’t at all ‘heady’, but delicate instead.

The other candle I have is the Raspberry & Salted Caramel. This is really nice; but I would have preferred more raspberry coming through and less salted caramel, as it is a tad overpowering. This is one to burn on the other side of the room to fill it with a diluted scent; rather than right next to you on a bedside table. It has notes of raspberry blended with anise, buttercream and vanilla-based caramel.

The burn time on these is around 50 hours, and they are priced at £12 each from Flamingo Candles. Next on my list to try is their Macaroon & Almond High Tea candle from a previous collection, as it sounds delightful.

What scents have you tried from Flamingo Candles?
