    MOTHER’S DAY 2020 GIFT IDEAS WITH T J HUGHES

    March 11, 2020 in LIFESTYLE
    T J Hughes Mother's Day Gifts

The time has come to think about gifts for our Mums (or Grandmother’s or motherly figures we love) for Mother’s Day this year. Quality, discount department stores like T J Hughes have a huge array of special, luxurious-feeling items that would make lovely presents on this special day. You can buy online, or you can head to one of their stores for even more choice and variety. If you’re in Glasgow like me, there’s a T J Hughes store on the Trongate, that sells so much more than what is on their website.

This is a sponsored post with T J Hughes; but all opinions are my own.

If you are trying to save money and watch costs this Mother’s Day, shopping for gifts at T J Hughes is a great way to do this as they stock a wide range of high-end brands (from Gucci fragrances to Adidas trainers) at low, discounted prices. This isn’t because there is anything wrong with these products, it’s just for simple reasons like packaging re-designs, or because they were special seasonal gift sets that didn’t sell out. This was always my reason for not shopping at stores like this; but working with T J Hughes and testing these products has opened my eyes to what great gifts there are available when you choose to shop there. I wanted to share with you some of my gift ideas for Mother’s Day, that are currently available on the T J Hughes online website.T J Hughes Mother's Day GiftsTop Haircare

If the ‘Mum’ in your life likes to look after and style her hair, there are so many haircare products from top brands available at T J Hughes. L’Oreal are leaders in the haircare arena, as are brands such as TIGI Bed Head and Phil Smith. I picked up amazing jumbo sizes of the great TIGI Bed Head Colour Goddess Shampoo & Conditioner for the low price of just £13.95 for the duo. These will last me many months, and would revitalise your Mum’s hair care regime. I also love a hair mask, and it would be a great way for your Mum to pamper herself. The L’Oreal Botanicals Hair Masks are amazing and I can recommend the relaxing and hydrating Lavender version.T J Hughes Mother's Day GiftsDesigner Fragrance

T J Hughes have a huge fragrance section where you can pick up heavily discounted scents from the likes of Gucci and Vera Wang. I really like Gucci’s Bamboo scent; but you don’t see it around so much anymore. T J Hughes have a great Gucci Bamboo Gift Set for £42, that includes the Eau de Parfam and a body lotion. The scent is so light and fresh. There are also some beautiful perfume bottles from Vera Wang that would look incredible on your Mum’s dressing table. You’ll find so many more scents if you actually head to a T J Hughes store too.

    Cosy Living

We all want our Mums to be happy and cosy, and gifting things like blankets and cushions are such a caring gift I think. I’ve fallen in love with a heated blanket from T J Hughes – the Bauer Luxury Soft Touch Heated Throw (£29.99) is big enough to cover her right to her toes, and has 10 heat settings. Perfect for watching the TV or reading a book. You can also use it to warm a bed before you get in it. It’s so soft and fluffy!T J Hughes Mother's Day GiftsSkincare They Love

Finally, I really recommend that you check out T J Hughes’ constantly changing skincare offerings. They have amazing brands such as Clinique and Elizabeth Arden. There are also lots of sheet masks for those all important pamper sessions. All of the products arrive in perfect condition and would make lovely gifts for Mother’s Day.
