It has been all about the brightly coloured prints for me at this past weekend’s London Fashion Week. We are set for a riot of bold colours and florals this AW15, and I love it. I wanted to share some of my favourite looks from the LFW catwalks with you- all really wearable, simply gorgeous and with a lot of high necklines.
I love Matthew Williamson‘s mixture of fabric textures- faux fur, silk and suede- in beautiful rich jewel tones and pretty floral prints. The Bionda Castana fringed ankle boots in his show are stunning and add great little pops of colour.
Issa‘s show had a lot of geometric monochrome prints; but this clashing floral print look really caught my attention. I think the neutral-toned floral blouse goes beautifully with this bright red patterned skirt for a real statement look.
The Preen by Thornton Bregazzi show was a true riot of colour. There was a lot of checked colour blocking prints with primary colours; but it was the richly detailed floral looks that I loved. This is a gorgeous embroidered black lace dress covered in a mass of pretty blue, red, yellow and white flowers with their green foliage.
House of Holland was all about bright check, houndstooth, stripe and chevron prints. I love the mixture of colours in his looks; especially this pink, fuschia and burgundy combination. The cinched-in waist and neck tie are cute too.
