I really like this simple and plain Inspire Blue Denim Tunic Dress (£24.99) that I got from New Look. I am wearing the smallest size in the Inspire range- a size 18.
I wanted to show you what this dress looks like without any accessories, as it isn’t the most flattering cut. I really love this dress; but I would need to wear it with a short cardigan, as the fabric drops straight down without coming in at the waist. A cardigan would highlight the position of where my waist is, as at the moment, it doesn’t look as if I have one. Wearing a cardigan or a light kimono is also a great way to cover up your arms if you aren’t keen on showing these off during the famous bare-all months of the year. I will also be teaming this with a long-line necklace as it will lengthen my body and detract from the high neckline that makes my bust look a lot larger than it is.
Overall though, this is a perfect dress for both Summer holidays and sunshine days at home as it can be worn in so many different ways; both casually and dressed up. The denim fabric is of a high quality- thick, but light and breathable at the same time. There is also a stylish chunky gold-toned zip at the back.
You can purchase this dress in New Look stores nationwide, or online at the New Look Holiday Shop.
