George at Asda invited me to choose a pair of jeans and some other lovely pieces to show off my summer style. They have a huge range of jeans and have even conducted some research to find the biggest denim devotees.
Now I must admit that I’ve not always been a jeans fan – this summer is the first time that I’ve worn any in years and I’ve accumulated three new pairs this season (I might just become a George at Asda Jean Queen after all). You know that I’m a long-time black legging lover however, so I had to try a pair of George’s black denim jeggings* (£12 from George at Asda) when I saw that they had them available. I love these and think that I’m going to buy a few more pairs – they have the same look as leggings, but are sturdier and will last a lot longer. They have the same comfortable elastic waistband too, but are a lot more flattering.
I went double denim and teamed them with a cute denim dress* (£18 from George at Asda) with a flattering tie waist, and I’ve also been wearing them with a simple black lace trim vest top* (£4 from George at Asda) and a Moroccan-style printed kimono* (£14 from George at Asda) – an outfit I’ve worn a hundred variations of in the past, but that I’m now loving with the black denim.
I also picked up the most beautiful maxi dress* (£18 from George at Asda). I’m really feeling the boho vibe this year and this dress is great value. I love the neckline on it so much as it helps distract from my large bust.
Have you tried any jeans from George at Asda before? They have a great selection of coloured denims for summer and some cute cropped jeans too.
