US brand Winky Lux have recently launched their popular (and very cool-looking) Lip Pill lipsticks in the UK with ASOS. Taylor Swift is a fan of these products and looks pretty amazing in them too. So, I had to try them out for myself, obvs.

I’ve been trying out four of the Vegan and cruelty free Winky Lux Matte Lip Velour Lip Pills (£13 from ASOS). These small metal ‘pills’ look so Instagramable and they are incredibly handbag-friendly too. These are some of the most pigmented, creamy and smooth lipsticks that I have ever tried. A single swipe gives you high-impact, opaque colour that feels comfortable and conditioning on the lips.

The shades I have (left to right) are Bond, Cocoa, Rose and Heart. I wouldn’t wear the first two shades personally, but the last two are now firmly part of my collection. The formula of these are demi-mattes rather than full-on mattes; which makes them a lot more comfortable to wear. They dry down to an almost matte finish, but still have a bit of a healthy/hydrated look to them. They smell of vanilla too – yum!

I am definitely going to pick some more of these up as they have some stunning nude shades and I’m all about a nude lip at the moment. What do you think of them?
