For this week’s Face Mask Friday post (that’s a day late again – sorry!), I’m reviewing the Clarins SOS Comfort Face Mask* (£30 from Clarins). This is part of their SOS mask line-up, and it does exactly what it says on the tube – it comforts your skin, soothes and moisturises it.
I really like this product. You apply the thick, buttery cream to your skin generously and leave it on for 10 minutes, before wiping off with a soaked cotton pad. You can even leave it on overnight if you wish to, for an extra softening and plumping boost. This mask has a lovely fresh scent, very much like Shea Butter, but is actually from the Wild Mango Butter ingredient. Mango Butter is rich in fatty acids that nourishes the skin, protects it from dehydration and adds suppleness to the skin.
The Clarins SOS Comfort Face Mask is such a treat for dry skin (or normal skin) – it leaves your face feeling nourished, soft and plump. This reminds me a lot of the results from the Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay Mask, so if that one is out of your budget, this is a good alternative to try.
Your skin will drink in this mask, leaving you with an oily film on your skin that you remove with a cotton pad. If your skin needs a pick-me-up, this is a brilliant fast-acting one with immediate results. Have you tried it before?
