I wanted to share some new lipsticks with you from Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty range, as I think it’s a great collection. She says that “lipstick is all about having fun and expressing your mood”, and with that, she created 14 widely-ranging shades of Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipsticks* (£16 from Harvey Nichols).I’ve been sent 5 of the 14 shades – 4 of these aren’t suitable for my colourings/aren’t shades I would wear, but one of these i’m obsessed with. I think these are all interesting shades to share with you however, as there are some great nudes for dark skin tones – something most brands just don’t produce. In this collection, there really is a shade to suit all skin/hair tones and personalities. The shades I have, from left to right, are PMS (a moody brown), Shawty (a warm chestnut), Saw-C (an exotic tangerine), Freckle Fiesta (a spiced terracotta), and Clapback (a true navy).I just can’t get enough of Freckle Fiesta. It’s not a shade I would typically wear, but it goes so well with my brown hair and is really flattering on my pale skin. These lipsticks are so incredibly pigmented – these swatches are literally just one swipe. The are soft and creamy and glide onto the lips; giving you a comfortable matte finish. I love that the bullets are so slim-line are it really helps with getting that precise application. The wear time on these is amazing too – even with eating and drinking. You’ll still have a strong, even colour after a night out.

I’m interested in checking out my more typical nude, pink and red shades in the collection as I love the formula of these lipsticks. As with all of the Fenty Beauty products, you can pick these up in Harvey Nichols stores nationwide, or online.
