I just love this longwear cream shadow from Dior. It is so easy to blend as the texture is almost like a mousse or foam- which means you don’t feel it on your eyes either. Some cream shadows are very thick and heavy; but this is as light as a feather as well as still having great colour pay-off.

You can apply this with a wet brush for a bolder colour and more 3-dimensional shimmer effect; but I like to just use my finger tips to blend it into my skin as a subtle base for other shadows or simply for a subtle wash of colour and shine. You do get a little sponge applicator with it; but I find using my fingers is more effective for an even look.

The shade I chose is Hypnotique- a purple colour, as it fits in well with this season’s berry trends. It is packed with gorgeous shimmer, and is so pretty and light-reflecting. I love it as it’s perfect for both day wear and for all those Christmas parties.
