BB, CC, DD; makeup, hair and now nails – the letter phenomenon is spreading. In short, CC products are colour correctors, coverage providers and conditioning products in one. You are bound to have a CC cream in your foundation stash, but have you got a CC product for your nails?
The Barry M Mani Mask in Bashful (£3.99 from Superdrug) is a light pink polish that gives your nails colour, camouflages imperfections and conditions your nails. The other available shade is a cream/nude shade called Birthday Suit. Both provide a really sheer hint of semi-matte colour and look really natural on the nails – just enhancing and perfecting your own nails. If you can’t wear coloured nail polish to work or school, but still want to look after your nails and keep them looking good, I would really recommend this. The Mani Masks contain bamboo, Keratin, Argan Oil and Vitamin E to help strengthen, hydrate and condition.
Leighton Denny’s Bare It All (£12 from Leighton Denny) from is a base coat with a beige tint that gives some colour, perfects your own nail’s discolourations and conditions. You can wear this on it’s own, but the tan shade won’t be for everyone. I wear this as a base coat for other polishes as it contains Marula Oil which fills ridges and smoothes the nail’s surface, and keeps moisture locked into them too. It also contains Keratin to strenghten my nails. I find that using this polish really perfects the look of my manicure once I’ve put the colour I want on top and it keeps my nails healthy underneath too.
What do you think of these?
