I’ve been loving this Charlotte Tilbury face mask recently, as it makes my skin feel and look so good. It’s very gentle on the skin and really enjoyable to use, so I just had to share my thoughts on it with you.
The Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay Mask (£45 from House of Fraser) is one of her most popular products. Although this has clay in the title, don’t be fooled into thinking that this will be one of those heavy, drying and stripping ones. This one looks and feels more like Sudocrem and it doesn’t dry hard on the skin. You apply the mask and massage the creamy clay into your skin at the same time using Charlotte’s pro-collagen Wonder Workout Massage technique (learn it here), before leaving it on for 10 minutes and removing with a damp warm flannel.
The mask is designed to lift, smooth, moisturise, brighten, tighten pores, provide anti-ageing benefits and clear imperfections – basically to completely overhaul your skin and make it look and feel fantastic and baby soft. Its formula is based on an ancient Mediterranean recipe which uses gentle but nutrient-packed Spanish clay (to draw out impurities), along with nourishing Sweet Almond Oil and Rosehip Oil (to delay signs of skin ageing). It has then had the latest anti-ageing ingredients added to it – such as the glow-giving, Tilbury-patented, BioNymph Peptide Complex, which also aids collagen production and improves elasticity. The mask also contains Frangipani Flower Extract, which is an antiseptic and makes skin incredibly soft.
After using this mask, my skin feels silky soft and plump. It feels firmer and looks more glowy too. Usually you would only use a clay mask a maximum of once per week, but this one is so gentle that I use it a couple of times per week. It’s such a pick-me-up.
Have you tried this mask before?
