TRYING OUT NEW RELEASES FROM EYEKO

January 26, 2017 in BEAUTY, Uncategorized

    Eyeko mascaras and eyeliners

I don’t know how Eyeko manage to produce so many different mascaras and eyeliners, but they do. Their huge range can be hard to navigate, so I wanted to share my thoughts on their newest releases with you to help you when choosing what to buy.

    Eyeko X Colette Bespoke Mascara

The Eyeko X Colette Bespoke Mascara* (£25 from Eyeko) is a limited edition collaboration between Eyeko and Parisian boutique Colette. It comes in the chicest packaging – a mirrored box with a wax seal. The mascara itself has a curved bristled brush and is designed to give you incredibly dramatic lashes as the formula is enhanced with a double dose of fibres to make you lashes look fuller and longer. The curved brush allows you to get those little annoying lashes at the edges included in just the one swipe. It’s a great all-rounder and no-fuss mascara, that’s smudge-proof too and also looks after your lash health with its amino acid and peptide ingredients.

    David Downton for Eyeko Mascara

The David Downton for Eyeko Mascara* (£22 from Eyeko) is now available to purchase on its own. David Downton is a cool illustrator who has created a great packaging design. The mascara has a curved brush that tapers to a point. It’s designed to fit along your lash line, to be pressed into the roots and hug all the lashes from their base for a built-in liner look. It gives you a bold lash look with lots of volume and definition and is also enhanced with a lash fortifying complex. This is a great mascara for bottom lashes too as it seperates them, but doesn’t coat them in too much product.

Finally, the Eyeko Sport Waterproof Eyeliner* (£16 from Eyeko) comes with a gel liner pencil (with built in sharpener) on one end and a smudging brush on the other. Once this liner is on and has dried, IT WILL NOT BUDGE. Even to smudge it out, you’ll need to work quickly. The formula is really creamy (its made with coconut oil) and you can draw your line easily and smoothly, without dragging your eyelids. I really love this and I know that I can rely on it to stay in place no matter what I’m doing.

Have you tried any of these yet?
