I doubt there is any beauty lover who doesn’t own something from MAC. Many of their products and shades have reached ultimate cult status and I’ve got 5 here to show you that you need to try. What’s so amazing is that you can now buy MAC from Look Fantastic!

MAC Strobe Cream in Pinklite Original* (£25 from Look Fantastic) is an amazing creamy liquid illuminator with a light pink pearlescent finish. This is the original shade of the Strobe Cream and it’s one that I think is universal. You can use this as a primer to add some glow to your face before applying your foundation; you can mix some in with your foundation; or you can just pat a small amount over your cheekbones for a dewy look.

MAC lipstick is an industry favourite as the textures and pigmentation are top class. The shade Velvet Teddy* (£16.50 from Look Fantastic) is a cult nude that every die-hard makeup addict has in their collection. It’s a pretty brown-toned nude that will suit most complexions and it wears really nicely.

MAC In Extreme Dimension Lash Mascara* in Black Extreme (£19.50 from Look Fantastic) is my favourite of the MAC mascara family. The wand isn’t the easiest to use since it’s so long and straight, but once you get the hang of how to get into all your lashes with it, you can get an amazing effect. It really lifts, seperates, lengthens and curls the lashes, and the shade is a true black.

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Global Glow* (£24.50 from Look Fantastic) is a baked powder highlighter/bronzer. On my pale skin it is a gorgeous bronze-gold with finely-milled, minute sparkle. It has a soft and silky texture, and it blends beautifully into the skin. It is super-pigmented though, so you only need a quick tap of your brush to pick up enough product. This is going to be my go-to bronzer for summer.

Finally, to set you makeup looks, you need to try MAC’s famous Prep + Prime Fix+* (£18 from Look Fantastic). This fine mist spray will lock your makeup in place. You can also use it to wet your eyeshadow brushes to increase the drama of the shadow and to keep it in place for longer. It’s very hydrating and soothing, and contains antioxidants to protect the skin from environmental stresses.
