OK, so a neck and chest mask isn’t exactly a ‘face mask’, but it’s close enough. For this week’s Face Mask Friday post, I’m reviewing the Skin Laundry Neck & Chest Mask. This LA brand is now available to shop at Harvey Nichols’ stores.
The Skin Laundry Rejuvenating Anti-Aging Neck & Chest Mask* (£58 for 5 from Harvey Nichols) is a sheet mask for your neck and chest area. You lay it on and smooth it out, then sit back and relax for 15-20 minutes while it works. The mask is infused with a serum that contains 19 skin conditioning extracts to leave your skin refreshed, moisturised, plumper and firmer; whilst also reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, to leave your skin looking more youthful. There’s Niacinamide in there – an ingredient that’s great for ageing skin as it improves the texture and tone of your skin, and combats dullness.
This is a very pleasant mask to use as it feels very cooling on the skin – if you are on holiday in a hot climate, this would be ideal after a day out in the sun. As I’m only 33, I can’t say that I have any neck or chest lines and wrinkles, so I can only judge this mask on its rejuvenating properties. It makes your skin so soft, plump and firm. It also has a kind of natural radiance to it. This would be a great mask to use before a special night out when you are exposing a lot of your chest area, as it just makes it look healthy.
I wouldn’t use this mask regularly as I don’t really need it, but if I had a red carpet event for example, I would definitely slap one of these on before I get into my dress. Have you tried this mask before? Or, do you have any other neck or chest mask recommendations?
