My love for Fenty Beauty isn’t diminishing. They’ve just released the limited edition Galaxy Collection, which as you can imagine, is full-on sparkle and intergalactic glitter. I have the two lip products in the collection and I wanted to share them with you.
The packaging of this collection is stunning. It still has the same hexagonal shaped design, but the colour of has changed to a holographic ‘oil spill’. The first of the two lip products (and my favourite), is the Fenty Beauty Galaxy Collection Cosmic Gloss Lip Glitter* (£16 from Harvey Nichols). There are four shades of this lip gloss, and I have the shade Gal On The Moon, which is a holographic pink orchid. These are very shimmery, as you would expect, but they also have quite a bit of pigment to them also.
I’m not usually a fan or purple lip colours, but I like this. The irridescent glitter is so finely-milled that you don’t feel it at all – the consistency is so smooth and non-sticky. It really enhances your pout by making your lips look fuller and plumper. For a gloss, it really stays in place too. I think I might pick up the shade Spacesuit (a glittery peach) as I think this nude shade will suit me the most.
The second lip product in the collection is the Fenty Beauty Starlit Hyper-Glitz Lipstick* (£16 from Harvey Nichols). I’m not really that keen on metallic lipsticks, but these aren’t as intense – you can wear them sheerer or really build them up. They have a very comfortable balm-like texture. There are four shades and I have the shimmering hot pink shade Gravity. They have micro shimmer in them, are decently pigmented and have a shiny chrome finish. This isn’t a lipstick that I would wear every day; but for a Christmas party, it’s ideal and will make your lips really stand out.
Have you tried anything from the Fenty Beauty Galaxy Collection?
