FACE MASK FRIDAY: EMMA HARDIE MORINGA RENEWAL TREATMENT MASK

    April 13, 2018 in BEAUTY
Emma Hardie Moringa Renewal Treatment Mask

If you haven’t heard of the cult classic Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm, I don’t know what planet you’ve been on for the past 9 years. Now, she’s taken some of the hydrating and radiance-boosting benefits of this balm cleanser and turned up the volume with the new Emma Hardie Moringa Renewal Treatment Mask.

The Emma Hardie Moringa Renewal Treatment Mask* (£49 from M&S Beauty) can be used in two ways – as a 10-minute skin pick-me-up, or as an overnight skin transformer. I’ve been trying it out both ways and I love the results from each. You apply a generous layer to cleansed skin, and either leave it on for the 10 minutes, or leave it on overnight as you sleep. You can also keep the mask in the fridge, so that it’s a lovely cooling treat for your skin when you apply it. The mask is in the form of a thick cream, without much of a scent. It feels lightweight on the skin, and doesn’t feel greasy or sticky.

It contains a host of ingredients that will nourish, condition and perfect your skin. There’s Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil (to plump the skin and add radiance), Hyaluronic Acid (to firm and moisturise the skin), patented Hyaluronic Filing Spheres (to plump the skin and fill out lines and wrinkles), Red Algae (to add luminosity and reduce pigmentation), Amino Acid derivatives (to brighten the skin and even out the complexion), and Edelweiss Extract (to soothe the skin, protect collagen and act as an antioxident). There’s also the patented Resistem Plant Stem Cell Beauty Bodyguard – a 2% clinically tested innovation that evens out the complexion, stimulates cell regeneration to promote a natural glow, protects the skin from stress, and helps reduce and neutralise pro-ageing agents.

This mask would be great for those with dry, dehydrated, tired or stressed skin as it gives it such a boost. The results remind me a lot of the Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Clay Mask (which I reviewed here) – it’s that type of mask that you should always have on hand for a quick skin rescue, or to create a great skin base for makeup application. Keeping it on your skin for 10 minutes will give you increased hydration and plumper skin, softer skin, and a lovely healthy glow. Using it as an overnight treatment will really tranform your skin by making your complexion look more even and radiant, minimise the appearance of lines and wrinkles through intense hydration of the skin, and leave your skin looking calm and conditoned.

I am really enjoying using this mask, and I’d definitely recommend that you have it in your skincare arsenal!
