This post is really late, but better late than never. I’ve started a new full-time job that involves all things bloggers and content, and I’m moving to a new flat, AND I’m doing a TV drama script development course – so my time is incredibly limited right now! This is my September favourites post and it includes some fashion, beauty and lifestyle items. I hope you find something that you need to have!
First up is the amazing Lumie Light Bodyclock Spark 100 Wake Up to Daylight* (£75 from John Lewis). Basically it’s an alarm clock that wakes you gradually over 30 minutes with increasing light. It’s great for the dark winter mornings when you don’t get a natural sunrise. I also use it’s sunset mode at bedtime, to fill my room with the authentic and peaceful colours of a sunset. It’s really helping to calm me at night, and make me feel more awake in the mornings.
Since we are on the subject of sleep, I am also addicted to Lush’s new Sleepy Shower Gel (from £5.99 at Lush). It has the same scent as the previous Twilight Shower Gel, but with a milkier formula. It now contains skin-softening Oat Milk. It has a malty lavender smell that is indescribable. It’s part of their Christmas range, so if you love it, you’d better stock up!That one is definitely a shower gel for night time. In the mornings, I’ve been loving the Limited Edition Nivea Shower Silk Mousse in Lemon Meringue (£2 from Boots). It has a subtle, sweet lemon scent and it makes your skin feel so soft.
There are also some fashion items that I’ve been loving. I found these amazing black suede loafers (£5 from everything5pounds) and they are such a bargain. They are amazing quality and look very chic. This is going to be my new go-to site for shoes!
Another pair of kick-ass shoes that I’ve really enjoyed wearing are a pair of peep-toe shoe boots – Truffle Collection Triny Wide-Fit Twin Buckle Peep-Toe Boots (£28.99 from Pink Clove). These are new in for autumn and are a bit of a warmer alternative to strappy sandals for a night out. The heel isn’t too high and they are very comfortable.
You all know that I love Disney, and I am obsessed with this Mickey sweatshirt (£8 from Primark). It’s such a bargain and looks so cute. I’m really impressed with the Disney stuff that Primark are releasing at the moment. Their Mickey Mouse game is strong!
Finally, I’ve been enjoying some waffles for breakfast in the mornings using my new KitchPro Duo Waffle Bowl Iron (£34.99 from Cool Stuff). This makes little bowl-shaped waffles that you can fill with cream, berries and syrup, to have as breakfast or a dessert after dinner. It’s really easy to use and I just use waffle/pancake mix that you can buy in the supermarket.
